ASA Speech Pro – Text Bridge

This extension is a companion tool for ASA Speech Pro (asapeechpro.com), a desktop app for speech recognition and translation. It requires ASA Speech Pro to be installed and running on your computer — it does not work standalone.

What it does

When you press Ctrl+Alt+C while using ASA Speech Pro, this extension reads the text you've selected (or the text under your mouse cursor) directly from the current webpage and sends it to the ASA Speech Pro app running on your own computer for translation. This also works on websites that normally block the standard copy function.

Why the permissions

Access to all websites — needed because you might want to translate text on any page; we can't know in advance which site you'll use it on.
