ClickToSearch is a Chrome extension designed to streamline your online searches with just a click and a custom keyboard shortcut. With ClickToSearch, you can select any text on a webpage and, by clicking while holding your configured modifier keys, instantly search for that text using your preferred search engine. The extension supports multiple search engines, each with its own search URL template and unique shortcut combination, giving you complete control over your search workflow.

Multiple Search Engines:

Easily configure and switch between search engines. For each engine, specify a custom search URL (with %s as the placeholder for your query) to quickly perform searches on Google, DuckDuckGo, Bing, or any other provider.

Customizable Shortcuts:

Assign unique shortcut combinations for each search engine using an intuitive dual-dropdown interface. Choose both a primary and an optional secondary modifier key. The extension dynamically updates the available options to ensure that modifiers are not duplicated across different shortcuts.
