this guy calling bad reviews bots while ignoring the fact that this extension magically got 70 five-star reviews(almost half the total review in less than a week) in a row on 5/23 after being completely inactive for 10 months. that’s bot behavior. This extension clearly says it “uses affiliate links” which means it’s hijacking your cookies that’s already shady enough. I’m not going to sit around and wait for it to start stealing cookies to confirm what’s obvious: this thing is a security risk. Avoid it.
ts pmo, all the bad reviews are either bots or stupid people, this extension isn't a cookie logger bro
I downloaded Shiftsearch under the impression it functioned as an ordinary Chrome extension which would boost my search capabilities. What I got instead was a one-way ticket to Sketchyville. This thing isn’t just shady it’s practically wearing sunglasses at night while whispering, “Trust me bro.” The extension hijacks your browser like it's auditioning for a villain role in a hacker movie. Random redirects, bizarre popups, and a weird spike in suspicious logins? Yeah, totally "normal behavior" for a search tool. Spoiler: it's not. Oh, and those glowing 5-star reviews? They're faker than a billionaire's humblebrag on LinkedIn. Probably written by bots or people paid in expired iTunes gift cards. People are calling it a cookie logger, and honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if this thing also steals your lunch money and your Netflix password on the way out. Avoid it like your ex’s drama.
