Starting from Chrome version 133.0.6943.142 links added to history by extension are not styled as visited by Chrome. Temporary solution is to disable chrome://flags/#partition-visited-link-database and chrome://flags/#partition-visited-link-database-with-self-links flags.

Starting from Chrome version about 136.0.7079.0 Google returned possibility to style visited links, but only for links leading to the same site where extension was used.

The extension is not working anymore
you may think chrome 134.0.6998.178 breaks it but if you go into options and turn on and off the "Visit only unvisited URLs" it seems to fix it
Stopped working, and the developer seems to have abandoned it.
This just stopped working for me when I updated to 133.0.6943.142.
Used this for Years, Works Great, Just Updated, Luv IT! T T h h a a n n k k Y Y o o u u ! ! (To make work you may need another extension to change link colors)
Marking a link as selected has absoluely no effect. This is broken.
Works perfectly. Keep in mind you need to use something else to change the color of your links. I use Stylus.
I'm so glad I found this extension after "Mark All As Read" was removed from the store! Works great! I'm using a AutoHotKey script to invoke it with the keyboard CTRL + Q. #IfWinActive, ahk_exe Chrome.exe ^q:: ControlClick, x1730 y66 return (depending on your screen size, you might have to change the coordinates of the button) Many thanks to the author!
Very disappointing extension. Once you have marked visited some links, it is not possible to toggle states in one go. You have to do it one link at the time ... Nothing to see with Link Visitor on Firefox. :-(
Absolutely love this app! Thanks you.. But I've just moved to a Mac mini M1 and the options is now greyed out. any suggestions?
