QuizTeX automatically converts raw LaTeX into properly rendered math on Quizlet using MathJax SVG output.
It supports Flashcards, Learn mode, Match, Blast, Test, and set/word list pages. The extension is designed for STEM learners who study formulas and symbols that Quizlet may display as plain LaTeX text.
No telemetry or analytics are included. The extension runs only on Quizlet pages and processes content locally in your browser personal data.

I love the overall concept, but the extension still needs some polishing to improve the user experience. Here are the main issues I encountered: 1. No quick way to disable the extension Currently, there is no easy option to temporarily toggle the extension off. This is a major roadblock because, without disabling it entirely, it is impossible to edit the questions. A simple "on/off" switch in the popup menu would solve this. 2. Flashcards do not refresh properly The flashcards fail to refresh, causing old equations to override new questions. This bug makes the extension completely incompatible with the flashcard mode.
I just installed this Google extension the other day. I can see it being a great tool for math teachers. So far, it's worked out very well for me, but there is a big caveat. I believe the default mode is to have the extension change your data automatically. If this is the case, you must do the following so that it does not change your LaTeX script in your flashcards and, perhaps, other data: Before you edit any of your flashcards, 1) Select the More Options (three vertical dots) on the QuizTeX extension, 2) Select "This can read and change site data," 3) Select "On quizlet.com," 4) Select "This can read and change site data," 5) Select "When you click the extension," 6) A popup will ask you to reload. Click on "Reload." Now it's safe to edit your flashcards and other data without it automatically formatting it to something else. I didn't do this at first and I had to go through my flashcard list and manually format all of the LaTeX. It was pretty time-consuming, but I fixed it in the end. Also, note that the LaTeX method it uses is \(x\), not $x$ or $$x$$. Every time I want to edit my flashcards, I make sure to follow the procedure I outlined above so that I don't lose my data. When I want to see my flashcards rendered in LaTeX, I simply click on the extension and everything is rendered as expected. Overall, it's a much-needed extension and a great work-around for the lack of LaTeX rendering in Quizlet.
