Over the last few days, I've tried several similar extensions, and this is the only one that has allowed me to write something like ^(?!https?:\/\/web\.archive\.org)(.+) in a single rule, without having to resort to double rules/conditions or tricks such as (https?:\/\/(?:[^w]|w[^e]|we[^b]|web[^\.]).+). The recent upgrade is a huge improvement on all fronts. In my opinion, the “307 redirect” interface is still superior in terms of usability, because it lets you change rules on the fly without entering submenus. However, this extension is significantly more powerful and versatile thanks to the different replacement modes and the ability to test the rules you set. Compared to some competitors, it only lacks support for multiple conditions within a single rule. I have just one remaining issue, although it happens sporadically so it may depend on my setup: sometimes it doesn’t update in real time. As a result, the order of the popup rules doesn’t always match the configuration, or URL replacement still triggers even when it should be disabled. Other minor suggestions: - with the latest update, the old “regex” rules have become “static”; this is probably because that setting now applies to more options, but it might be worth double-checking in future updates; - the extension works well in both normal and dark mode, but the favicon in normal mode is really hard to see; - add "extension status" button also in the popup.
