Added to Edge from the Chrome Extension store, went back to my IG tab, and it worked immediately. Surprised me because it's apparently deprecated and isn't listed as supported for Edge, but here we are. Thanks George, I'll use it for as long as it works.
It looks like the developer has stopped maintaining this extension, based on his comment. If anyone is looking for an alternative, you can try Reels Scrubber – Real Video Controls for Instagram Reels, Stories & Feed. Just search for it in the Chrome Web Store using the search bar at the top.
With every scrub audio is muted.
This is NOT a scrubber. This just jumps ahead/back 5 seconds. That's not what a scrubber does. I should be able to go through the video frame by frame. That's what a scrubber does. You grab the dot and move it with your mouse. Everyone knows this. This isn't new tech. Disappointing.
bro make the extension NOT mute every time you pause or scrub. very annoying.
Really good to be able to see Instagram reels full screen again. Thanks for providing. As others have reported, the sound muting whenever the video is moved backwards or forwards slightly takes the shine off, but appreciate that if an Instagram default (which I appreciate when on public transport with those who don't seem to think they need headphones...) may be hard to overcome.
Every video starts muted. Any time you move the video forward or backwards, the video becomes muted again. Also mutes on play/pause Which means to hear the start of a video you basically have to fast forward tot he end, unmute and then let it start over naturally.
Do the job but mute the video everytime you press pause... so it's annoying
Love it, I can FINALLY and easily move forward and back through videos. Can't comment on sound, never have any enabled, always terrible tinny overwrought piano rubbish anyway
Doesn't work at all with reels.
