Best overall site dimming extension because of its simplicity. It has a global level of brightness which is applied to all sites by default unless you override it for a particular site. The "Override on this site" toggle button is a bit fussy about where you click (it does not toggle if you click the large circle - you have to click on the line beside the circle), but apart from that, it's a very simple plugin without all the unnecessary complexity in so many similar plugins.

Great extension! Dark mode extensions and Chromium's dark mode flag are fairly hit and miss for many sites in my experience. This extension is a nice way to reduce the overwhelming brightness of light sites without the side-effect of a lot of style injection/site-breaking issues etc. The recognition of and auto-adjustment for already dark sites has greatly improved with the last update, making this a real joy to use. Thank you so much for creating this!
