The "Stop AutoPlay Next for YouTube" extension permanently disables YouTube from auto-playing the next suggested track by rejecting access to the module. This module is responsible for loading the next track (suggested track). It also dims the next playing item in the right sidebar area of the YouTube pages. The extension also turns the auto-play button off in the player area.
Notes:
After installing this extension, the next track suggestion box is blurred.
After installing this extension, the next slider button on the player is removed.
You can change the opacity of this box or hide it by setting the opacity value to zero (not available on v3).

Works exactly as intended. Note that you have to reload chrome for it to work, it doesn't immediately activate on already open tabs when installing
This DOES work on Brave Browser for me. Not sure why it isn't for the other reviewers. Thanks for making it!

Not working in incognito(already checked the incognito option) after some recent Chrome versions.

works for me, i wanted it because i have many tabs of yt open so cycling through them i have to wait for them to buffer and then stop, plus the pause screen shows the thumbnail, thats a plus

Does not work.
Fonctionne très bien actuellement : la lecture automatique après visionnage est désactivée par défaut et le bouton de lecture automatique est masqué. La lecture continue fonctionne quand on regarde une playlist. C'est idéal. 👍
