The "External Application Launcher" extension enables you to define a toolbar button or several context menu items to execute external executables right from your browser. It extracts arguments from the current web page and passes them as command-line arguments of your choice to the external application.

Use Cases:

- You can send the current page to another browser

- You can send selected text to a text editor

- You can open your external email client and send selected text to it

- You send download links to an external download manager!

Perfect for seasoned users and professionals looking for local easy and fast extending. Really relived me from stupid burden of copying links to terminal as arguments to script. (That was not the way, lol). This extension, this is the way! However I would not recommend this to my mother, configuring this extension requires a bit of computer knowledge and understanding of technical terms such as 'command' and 'argument' (although my mother is having argument with her computer at least once a week)

wow amazing, unlocks so much potential by directly connecting browser info to your local pc (like client to server) I just made a .bat file that downloads a YouTube video, generates subtitles and automatically opens the video with matchings subtitles in VLC player

Great extension! The most flexible and protean of similar extensions, It is a user-friendly extension with a high degree of freedom that allows we to open any browser. ・Flexible and protean ・We can freely customize the extension icon. ・The lightest. It's a shame I haven't noticed the existence of this flexible extension until now. But why does right-clicking on the toolbar icon and then clicking on the title I named opens an empty page for "Undifined"?
