A simple tool to find broken (404 code) and redirected (301, 307, 308 codes) links in the current page. This tool examines all links in the current page (top frame and all sub-frames) and returns the status code and its meaning for each link. You can optionally ask the extension to check links inside about:blank frame elements are well. All broken links are placed in a separated category for easier detection. Beside each link, there is an inspect button which focuses the link to the center of the page to help to find the links faster.
Note that to increase link validation speed, the extension evaluates 5 links simultaneously.
Note that you can open the validation UI in a new popup window or as an embedded frame inside the page.
Note that this extension also notifies you about the links that are skipped like none HTTP links or mailto links
Features:
1. Deep search: search deep inside a website. If this mode is enabled, the extension parses all links of the same domain and extract links from them.

Works perfectly fine, exactly what I was looking for!
I love the inspect feature to point directly to where the broken link is on the page, clearly highlighted in red. It works on a Staging site behind password protection as well. I haven't tested on localhost so I'm not sure if it does work in that case. Otherwise this is doing just what I needed and saving me a ton of time testing our development environment for launch. Thank you to the developers of this app!
Nice tool, but I was looking for something more complex that scan the whole website e.g. wizardstool.com and etc.
good extension, its tool very helpful
Does not handle URLs ending with a / properly, that normally map to /index.html. 503 status shown for external links, even when the 5xx filter is disabled. Duplicate broken links can fill up the screen, making it hard to find useful information. Does not handle links to downloadable files, such as zips. Does not recognize mailto: links properly.
Best broken link checker tool. Please also help where is the broken link located.

Ausgezeichnete App. Sehr effizient und genau. Das Beste was es in dieser Kategorie gibt. Ich konnte damit viele Link-Adressen auf meiner webseite korrigieren. Mit ander Link-Checker war dies mehr oder weniger ineffizient. Sehr Hilfreich ist auch, dass umgeleiteten Adressen in der App aufscheinen. Ein kleines Manko ist das 5XX Kästchen. Die Deaktivierung wird leider von der App nicht berücksichtigt und es werden beim Start der App jedes Mal die 503er Fehler angezeigt. Auch wenn man diese im nachhinen ausblenden konnte, wäre es schön wenn dieses kleine Manko behoben werden könnte.
