We don't just hide results like other extensions. AI is a large consumer of water and energy, and this is an attempt to reduce resource consumption during Internet searches.

Our goal is not to just hide AI-powered results on websites and search engines like other extensions, but to actually stop the browser or server requests that run behind the scenes. Otherwise resources are still consumed by AI to generate results, even if they are hidden visually.

AI features on search engines (Google AI Overview, DuckDuckGo AI Assist, Brave Answer with AI, Ecosia AI Overview, Qwant Flash Answer) consume significant server-side resources (energy and water). Unlike other extensions that merely hide AI results visually, this extension actually prevents the AI requests from being made server-side, truly reducing resource consumption.

User installs extension → Extension automatically applies URL redirect rules and CSS injections on supported search engines → When user searches on Google/DuckDuckGo/Brave/Ecosia/Qwant, AI features are disabled server-side (requests never made) and AI UI elements are hidden visually. No configuration needed. Works passively on all supported search engines.
