This extension shows a bubble-type popup for the selected word's definition in Longman Dictionary.
It can show a clickable icon for the popup, or clicking a word displays the bubble immediately. By default, it adopts American English pronunciation, but you can enable "Prefer British pronunciation" in the options to use British pronunciation instead.

For your information, this extension uses Pearson Dictionary API (http://developer.pearson.com/apis/dictionaries). It was supposed to become unavailable at the end of 2017 but still available up until today (May, 2019).

This is exactly what I've been looking for!

Hi, I had Installed this extension since 6 days ago. It had worked properly, but from 4 days ago until now, when I select a word and click on the pop-up button, it doesn't show up the dictionary. I'll appreciate if you fix this issue. Thanks in advance.
I like it! I have three suggestions: 1) To be able to look for nouns that are in the plural form and also verbs in different tenses 2) To be able to look at the history of words that one has searched for 3) It might be beyond the scope of this project, but adding a flashcard aspect to the words that one has searched for would be great. It could help a user to learn new words efficiently.
The bubble (pop-up) feature is what's supposed to make this extension the best out there since all the other similarly great dictionaries look up words in a different tab but this feature stopped working quickly, even after I changed the options (because it wouldn't detect my selections) and chose "Show bubble after icon click" and clicked on the dictionary icon after selecting a word, there was no pop up. :(
This is what I was looking for, Except one thing, It would be great if you could add an option in right click menu for searching the world in Longman site directly, Like option for searching selected world in google thank you!
