Very interesting extension! However, I wonder whether the proportion (or percentage) of self-citation will be a more informative value. i.e. the fraction of citations that are self-citations. It might help to spot when a scientist is a recurrent "Citation manipulator".
Good effort but MacOS chrome showing 50% self citation rate (definitely wrong) and on Windows Chrome, the rate is 12.7% (Same Google profile). Probably a glitch or minor bug?
I dont know it calculated exact number but it is legit.
The Extension is not working. Showing the error. "Error: A network error occurred while contacting DBLP."
Simple, easy and effective! Useful to understand any researcher's profile. Thanks for the extension!
