Sets your new tab page to a personal dashboard that displays the NASA astronomy picture of the day (APOD). This new tab page is beautiful, educational, and feature rich.
The new tab page comes with a search bar supporting configurable search options to Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, You, Amazon, Walmart and eBay. You can create draggable and minimizable sticky notes. Timer and Desmos calculator widgets are available. Date and time can be configured. Shortcuts are set to most visited websites but can be edited. The position of them can be set to the center or the bottom. In the settings features can be toggled. In the bottom left there is a link to NASA astronomy picture of the day. Available in light and dark themes.

I'm giving a 5 star review because the add on gave me a fantastic picture to see every day, and customizes easily. Just since January 3rd or 4th, 2026 the background image no longer appears because NASA has changed the URL for the A.P.O.D. It's not the add on's fault that NASA changed the url, but I hope that the add on gets updated in order to resume working. I like this way too much to give up on it yet!
I get a gray screen and no matter what I do, removing and reinstalling it, clicking on the toggle to display or not display the photo, the extension just shows a gray screen. I originally downloaded this extension because of its utility and beauty but now its not working. I'm not sure whats wrong. its a shame that the extension doesn't work for me.
Absolutely love this extension, not only cool APOD photos every day but also sticky notes feature that syncs, a timer, four different options for desmos, lots of customizability. literally the best extension ever I'm so happy I have this.
Great extension, there is a lot of editing and customizing possible.
Really helpful extension
Great app. The sticky notes are very useful. Author clearly took a lot of time to make this. Way better then the default new tab.
It adds a notes feature and a few more shortcuts but you LOSE the voice search option.
