🔹 Best tabs/sessions manager extension - Take Full Control of Your Browsing History!

The default browser history is just a long, messy timeline. Tabs History redefines it by grouping your history based on tabs, just like how you actually browse. Every new tab gets its own history thread, keeping everything structured and easy to revisit. Whether you're researching, working, or casually browsing, this extension helps you find past sessions effortlessly.

✨ Key Features:

✔ History by Tabs, Not Time – See your history exactly as you experienced it.

✔ Calendar View – Navigate your browsing history by date, making it easy to find sessions.

✔ Sort by Tab Creation or Last Activity – Find pages faster based on how you opened them.

Either this no longer works as intended or it just isnt useful for my needs. What use is a history that clears when you refresh it?

Thank you for having made this extension which is unique as far as I know in the web store and very relevant for a lot of tabs users indeed. I hope you'll give it a chance to make past browsing exploration even better because it has an indeniable potential for a partial restoration of the closed tabs of a day. Chrome and all the extensions I tried allow a restoration either tab after tab or of an entire window or group or session. So when a closed window was full of tabs about various subjects, the user has no possibility then to select and restore only a part of this whole in just few clicks (only tabs about the same topic for example). We have to restore everything, maybe 60 or 100 tabs and then, as we need the navigation across them to be relatively easy and accurate, we have to close and close and close the ones we don't want at this moment. Also, once in the tab bar after restoration, tabs are often difficult to identify when they are too many because their titles are truncated. In your extension, they're listed clearly, so it would be way more convenient in order to only restore what's wanted. This partial restoration would preserve memory too because things would have been chosen before. Actually some "collections" or "spaces" managers for Chrome can do that but most of the time, once a list of tabs is saved, the selection method to restore them is as basic as what Chrome let us do : select either one tab after another or all the list. I've thought about two possibilities which would make your extension not just an History but, because it is, the most in-real-time saving and flexible session manager (not using sessions or collections but simply this history of tabs day by day). The possibility n°2 leads to the same result as the n°1 does but to me it seems much simplier technically but I'm not a developer so I don't know. 1) When they open Tabs History and each tab is still collapsed, users could display the day they want and select the first tab to restore and then (while holding the Shift key like when we use the Bookmarks or History built-in pages or any files explorer) select the last tab to restore, that to have a bunch of tabs selected. Or maybe getting that by holding the mouse left button and hovering the list. If some of these tabs included several visited pages, the last active page would be the restored one. Or if a tab included only x visited pages max for example (a setting for this number would be perfect), each page could be restored in a tab. It would be even greater if the users could unselect some of the selected tabs. Then they would press a button to open their selection in background tabs in a new window. 2) To manage the past tabs but undirectly, Tabs History could have a button to bookmark in one click all the tabs of the displayed day in a preset folder in Chrome Bookmarks. For now, there's no extensions and possibility to bookmark closed tabs without opening them all again. Eventually, the users could choose if they want to bookmark every visited page or only the last active page of each tab (compared to 99% of the tabs savers which don't restore the tab's individual browsing history, yours, by bookmarking every visited pages of each tab, could undirectly perform this total restoration). Then they'd just have to open the folder in Chrome Bookmarks and from there they could easily select/unselect some pages in order to reopen them altogether in background tabs like users can already do with usual bookmarks. I hope one of these possibilities might inspire you... Or if somebody knows a sessions manager which allows this kind of selective restoration, it would be really appreciated to read something here about it. A very last suggestion, the possibility to delete the whole history of the day we're displaying. There're days when we browsed a lot without needing to keep any trace for later. By deleting them we could faster identify the important days in terms of history and later restoration.

Just used it, and already I can see a good use case for myself in the future. Especially since I just recently had to deal with Chrome not saving my grouped tab history, so the way this extension organizes my history should make it easier to re-find what I need in the future!

I haven't seen anything like this before! Full control over your browsing history and a lot of help those of us who struggle to find that article or video that we forgot to bookmark. It's like being able to follow a trail of thought that you had a week ago. Five stars!
