An excellent extension that enhances the experience and makes it better than the default version, but unfortunately it no longer works with the new version of the player
Excellent extension. Keeps my movies clean of distractions, unneeded overlays, and a cluttered screen. When i try to watch my movies i don't want 3/4 of my movie being covered up by words, controls, and backgrounds just because i bumped my mouse a little. Yuck. It also always gets fixed and updated whenever something doesn't work. Good job, thanks for making it.
Perfect, it removes all unnecessary controls. It makes the Prime Video viewing experience much smoother. I definitely recommend it.
Does exactly what I was looking for. Block the overlay on pause. 👏
Fantastic. Really really good. I have no idea why modern streaming websites and apps have this hideous overlay that covers 45% of the content and seems to persist for about 15 seconds after you do literally anything. If I skip back a few seconds to catch a line or quick shot I missed, I then miss it again because the screen is covered for the re-watch. So I usually have to skip back 2 or 3 times and hope that I timed the ridiculous overlay correctly. A 5-15 second skip-back ends up becoming a several minute ordeal because even multi-trillion dollar companies cannot figure out very basic UI/UX. Fortunately, a very kind and competent developer (who is presumably also not a trillionaire) implemented this very intuitive and comprehensive fix, so I no longer have to hide/block/delete certain elements in the 'View Source' tool in my browser, hoping that it's the correct overlay. TL;DR: Great extension, thanks to the developer and I highly recommend to everyone.
thank god this exists, amazon default UI is the worst streaming experience of all
Perfect!
godsent
Though it works, it ONLY works in Tab mode and not full screen. Basically I was trying to find an extension to always give me RW/FF controls because if we install an AdBlock (uBlock Origin Lite) it interferes with our ability to control Prime Video playback controls. This doesn't give me control that I want but I can double time the speed in 0.1 increments, which I suppose is better than nothing. But I do like the ability to hide the annoying Xray which pops up randomly even with an AdBlock in place. If I disable or remove the AdBlock then all ads come back and playback is laced with random commercial breaks which can last 15s to as long as 180s.
