Best system monitor for chrome extension and chromebook.
The developer seems to have thought of everything. Aside from providing most of what we got from Cog (soon to be removed along with all other webapps on Chrombooks) compared to other extensions, this one is detachable, so it can be positioned where you want, and remain open if desired. There is a concern however, a big one: since recently downloading this extension I now have an unknown webpage (joycast.ai) that self-loaded while the computer is sleeping. On a Chromebook this sort of malicious event is generally extension driven, and this is the only recent one I've acquired of the few I use.
Very convenient app which allows you to catch a glimpse at the performance of vital elements of your Chromebook without delving into the many intricate details of the inbuilt System diagnostic data. I installed this extension given that support for the Cog system info viewer app is about to end. I just noticed a bug related to the Storage rubric which should give the information in a new window, but instead opens the extension a second time in the opposite corner of my screen. It must be nothing, if you could fix it. Thanks.
Simple, with data i want to see. Great job!
I have a Chromebook with a Intel Core i3-1125G4 CPU which is a quad core cpu with Hyper-threading. However, this extension is displaying the temperature for 6 cores. I think the developer has a temperature related software bug that needs to be fixed for this CPU. I would expect to see the temperature displayed for 4 cores.
Love that you can see CPU usage just in the icon, all that you can see how the user AND Kernel use the CPU.
