Hi guys, my name is Allen and I worked previously as an engineer at Tesla and after 7 years I have decided to leave that to pursue medicine. While I can't speak towards working in medicine (yet), I can definitely say that working in engineering and the road to medicine are quite demanding. Often times I am in the space of needing at least "25 hours" per day to stand a chance at getting all my work done - hence managing my time has been one of my highest priorities. I have used many different applications and often needed a couple in parallel to handle everything I wanted. I discovered tackle about a month ago and have really enjoyed their free version thus far. It integrates very nicely with google calendar, you get customizability, and both daily and long term data tracking for tags (or task categories) I created. I personally needed a little more manpower so I am excited to try out their paid version. Guys, I am not trying to tell you to buy tackle, I am just saying I think everyone, not just those that have demanding schedules, can manage their time better. We have one life and we should care about every minute! Tackle is a great option to get started with and if you have questions email their staff because they've been very friendly in hearing my suggestions. Hope this was helpful!!
Makes it much easier to track time from the calendar
Good idea and useful for basic usage, but when my calendar is very busy the extension sometimes lags or has delays in updating.
Tackle takes the chaos out of my browser tabs. I can organize everything in a way that makes sense to me. It helps me save time and stay on track.
I’ve found this extension incredibly useful for staying organized.
In the free version, many tags don't save or are getting lost. The available analytics are very basic, and without the ability to see how things look on a daily or monthly scale, it's unclear whether the paid version makes sense...
