The extension allows you to control brightness of chrome tabs. You can change brightness of each tab individually.
- Change brightness of current tab
- Toggle to maintain that brightness across different pages
- Save brightness of a page so you can come back later and the extension will remember the brightness that you prefer!
- Set global brightness, that will apply across all tabs and pages
Note: Certain pages (like chrome webstore) don't allow modifications, so this extension doesn't work on those pages

Control your browser's global screen brightness to use sites that do not support the native dark theme
This extension reduces the screen brightness level for both daytime and night time
Changes the color temperature of websites.
Control the brightness for any website
Simply drag a slider to dim every single website.
Use a screen dimmer as a blue light filter or brightness control. A dim screen can help you avoid digital eye strain.
You can set brightness to individual sites and save it.
If brightness is set globally you can't adjust the brightness of individual sites. This feature is essentially useless. If you maintain brightness and save it, then next time you come back to that site, it's locked and you can only adjust the brightness in the options screen. It would be better if it allowed you to tweak the individual site's brightness and save it from the extension overlay without having to go into the options screen again.
Perfect, does exactly what it says
Works perfect as of 6/3/25
Been looking for a good website dimmer that works well, and this ones pretty damn close & minimalistic to what I'd consider a perfect extension. I do have some input to see if the dev could hear me out for making a few adjustments; - Ability to edit the brightness for websites you already have a save for via the pinned extension menu & not having to go to the options menu to do so. What could be a good percentage during the day could be too much when its dark outside, so having the ability to quickly access that is really nice. - Adjusting saved websites; Having it adjust the percentage in real-time for websites you already have a save for, as this creates a looping cycle of "Adjust percentage, go to tab, refresh" and repeating if you dislike the new percentage. - With that is also the Options menu in general; When you have to open the "Options" tab to adjust the levels of a website, you're now making adjustments on a page that's hidden from view. It's also hard to initially find the website you're looking for if you have a long list of websites saved in the extension. - Having more than 15 website presets makes the options menu bug out & makes the websites below the first 15 clip the boundaries of the menu, making the website text illegible unless you highlight them all. - Have your presets saved within the extension itself; If "Maintain Brightness" is checked once, it will always be checked by default. Same goes with the "Apply Brightness Globally" setting, if its checked & set to 90%, every new website should start at 90% (even if you hit "Reset") and not lock you out of adjusting the percentage if the default level turns out to be inadequate.
