The wallet is implementing a soft coercion feature to steer ADA holders to its own Yoroi DRep in order to increase its voting power. Apparently, the fact that its parent company Emurgo has hundreds of millions of ADA governance power is not enough of power over the network. Supporting Yoroi is effectively supporting the least capable of the three Cardano founding entities in its push to centralize control over Cardano. The very thing that one would expect a founding entity not to do. Shows their belief in Cardano is just skin deep. Unfortunately, not a big surprise from the least capable of the founding entities. All mirror and smokes from Emurgo, as always. Sad to see a Japanese company dabbling in surreptitious manipulation of its users.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Yoroi is a malicious actor in Cardano governance. It exploits a UI trick to force users to delegate to Yoroi DRep. Users who are not interested in governance may not know what they are doing. Yoroi is gaining a dominant position in governance despite community criticism.

Yoroi wallet is a hostile entity that is actively harming Cardano by using soft-coercion via their UI to steer users to their own dRep (delegate representative for governance). I recommend choosing a different wallet and definitely a different dRep.
