This Houzz extension has one annoying bug that has now caused me to disable it... when I open a New Tab I get error of "This site can't be reached'. The URL is the internal chrome page: chrome-search://local-ntp/local-ntp.html. Houzz seems to hijack the chrome 'On startup' setting as it shows 'Houzz Save Button is controlling this setting'. If I disable that setting it remove all Houzz functionality. I just want the Houzz button on hover, I don't want to see Houzz at startup or on new tabs. But it seems it is not configurable to achieve that. Hopefully Houzz can fix the extension in future so it can be useful but non-invasive.
It does not save anything because when you click on the button it takes you to log in: "We just opened a new tab for you to log into Houzz. Once you’re signed in, please click on "Launch Houzz Save" below." then even after you're logged in it doesn't work. Launching houzz save does nothing but bring up the sign in screen again.
DOES NOT WORK. CONTINUALLY ASKS YOU TO LOG IN TO HOUZZ EVEN IF YOU ALREADY ARE.
Unfortunately, this is unproductive since it takes you to a login/signup screen each time you use it. Even then, the results are inconsistent and you don't get to add the product to an ideabook.
When clicking "save" button, it always shows a dialog for Login/Register, although I'm already logged in.
Impossible de sauvegarder des photos, l'extension me demande de me connecter alprs que je le suis déjà
Good experience
Whoever is the PM needs to really think about how much value do you really add by hijacking new tab without getting users' consent first -- ask yourself do you open new tab to want to see it? Does it consist of at least 80% of ur own use cases? Houzz, please sort review by recency and take a look at how many negative reviews are there. Is this really how you want to develop your customer relationship or are you defeating your own purpose?
Bug, il me demande de me connecter sur Houzz alors que je suis déjà connecté :(
Was working great and I loved it. So useful for capturing images for inspiration. Now it doesn't work though. I click on the symbol when it appears in a photo and the screen just freezes. Really disappointing.
