Facebook Auto-Refresh Blocker prevents Facebook from automatically refreshing your feed when you return to the tab after switching away. If you've ever lost your place while scrolling because Facebook refreshed the page, this extension solves that problem.
When you switch to another tab or window, Facebook detects the inactivity using the Page Visibility API. After a couple of minutes, when you return, Facebook automatically refreshes the entire feed, losing your scroll position. This extension intercepts those mechanisms and maintains your exact position in the feed.
Key Features:
- Blocks automatic feed refresh when returning to Facebook tabs
- Maintains scroll position and prevents lost content
- Simple one-click toggle to enable or disable
