Eliminates the tedious steps of downloading YouTube videos manually and then importing them into Premiere Pro. It automates the transfer of video/audio/clips from YouTube to the desktop editing software.

User installs the extension and the companion desktop app ('YoutubetoPremiere'). On a YouTube video page, the extension injects buttons. When clicked, it extracts the user's YouTube cookies and the video URL, sends them to the local desktop app via localhost, which then processes the video and sends it to Premiere Pro.

The extension relies on a local desktop server (localhost:17845) which is not present in the source package. The actual video processing logic resides in that external binary. Therefore, the full extent of features and potential security implications of the local server cannot be analyzed from the extension source alone.
