It uses random backgrounds from Unsplash.com, 20 hand selected backgrounds in the download and you can also add your own by providing the URLs on the settings page. The settings also allow you to completely customise the interface to your own liking.

I'd like to be able to change the font. This font kinda bothers me.

DE: Bestes Addon für Google Chrome um die Neue-Tab-Seite zu einzustellen! Defenitiv 5 von 5 Sternen wert. Durch dieses Addon werden die nervigen Elemente (Suchleiste, kürzlich besuchte Websiten etc.) beim öffnen eines neuen Tabs geblockt. Dadurch wird das Hintergrundbild nicht verdeckt, welches man manuell durch das einfügen der Bild-URL in die Textbox erreichen kann. EN: This is the best addon for google chrome to edit the new tab page! Definitely a 5 star rating worth. This addon blocks the annoying elements (Search bar, recently visited websites etc.) by opening a new tab. Thereby is the background image clean of the elements which you can manually set by pasting the image URL in the text field.
The best chrome extention ive found so far, it looks absoluty sick. tnx for making this beauty
Super erweiterung für den Chrome !!!
Ich bin damit zufrieden und es sind teilweise auch echt tolle Bilder dabei, da will man manchmal den Tab gar nicht mehr "nutzen" und macht einen neuen auf. Das mit den eigenen Bildern habe ich noch nicht getestet, brauche dies aber auch nicht. Das ist doch gerade das interessante, dass es neue Einflüsse bringt.
Tut was es soll. Leicht verständlich...aber einiges zu verbessern. 1. Kategorie auswahl der Bilder geht nicht! Eine Brücke ist bei mir nicht "funny" und ein Stein nicht "sports".... 2. Wenn ich eine Kategorie auswähle, zeigt es dennoch alle Bilder an. 3. Fehlt mir die Option nur eigene URL´s in den Bilder anzuzeigen... es ist immer nur eine Mischung von Allem! 4. Wäre für die Bilderauswahl auch eine "Eigener Ordner" Option hilfreich...mit Bildern von der Festplatte.
