Just says "not a valid gif file"
How to use it?
On most gifs it just says "Not a valid gif file".
Amazing tool, helps me work with videos recorded as GIFs created in ScreenToGIF by our QA Engineer at work. GIFs are necessary because they are supported in Jira much better than WebM or other video formats.

Worked for me. Right click on a gif, select "GIF Scrubber" from the menu, and it opens.
