Product summary

Review the store description, core capabilities, and common use cases.

Windows, tabs, bookmarks, notes, and more... all mixed together in one place, a highly structured living document that you and your browsers build together to organize your online life.

It's like Tabs Outliner or Tree Style Tab, but better.

Features: (there are a lot... maybe get a snack and drink before you dive in)

- Nested vertical tabs and groups: Like the "vertical tabs" and "tab groups" function in some browsers, but way more powerful. Windows, tabs, bookmarks, and notes are all mixed together in one big outline or "tree" that you can organize however you want. Each item in the tree is a "node".

- Handles many many tabs: Easily and reliably handles trees with tens of thousands of nodes. Whether you have 5 tabs or 50,000, this extension can handle it, even on old or slow computers.

- Automatic backups: Never lose data again. Saves a snapshot of your entire session on a configurable schedule, in plain text files, so even if your entire browser config gets deleted, you won't lose your session.

I LOVE this thing so far! It's been a never-ending journey to either curb my tab hoarding or find a way to sort them better. This extension help dramatically by allowing me to add context and annotations directly to any tab, give them hierarchical sorting order, and even sneak in non-tab notes. Trying to record my thoughts in some other tool on context switches was one of my biggest friction points to leaving tabs open all the time. Even better, it works with The Marvellous Suspender, which I was terribly worried about. This hugely eased my transition into it (after 2wks of hesitation, worrying installing it would instantly break things). Suspended tabs even show in italics, so that's a great bonus. I am, of course, working on Unloading them instead, but again, it's nice to have while new habits ease in. I have some minor feedback (kept in a TKTSTO note, of course :D ) I need to pop into Discord or email the dev sometime. But really the only snag I've found is the first time I had a forced reboot and Chrome needed to restore, I learned that Chrome restoring tabs (and possibly just on a non-crash close/open restore? haven't tested) led to TKTSTO reading them as completely new tabs. This was a freak-out, till I found in TK's "Session" mode all my pre-crash tabs chilling \o/ *whew*. So I just killed all Chrome's windows and re-opened them from the extension. THAT led to a new discovery and tiny snag: doing it this way made *Chrome* not recognize TK's restored tabs as parts of its existing tab groups. Kinda a nuisance, but TGs didn't do much for me anyway so I'm getting used to grouping IN the extension instead. Instead of collapsing tab groups, I can un-load whatever children I like. The dev is my kind of person, allowing keyboard shortcut customization for *everything*. It's a wonderland of efficiency XD Thanks SO MUCH for putting this together! It's new and in active development, so I have faith it's just gonna keep getting better ^_^

Great start to a very complex job. Appreciate the unique things you're building. Also appreciate your helping out abandoned Tabs Outliner users with similar features and an import system. Hope you can make a business of this so development is more likely to continue. When you start charging, I'll start paying :) Feature request: user stylesheet so I can make it look like I want.
