Machine learning CS2 match outcome predictor that injects win probabilities, player stats, and matchmaking data directly into FACEIT match room pages

FACEIT provides minimal information during the critical pre-match veto phase. Recon fills this gap by showing ML-based win probabilities per map, deep player statistics filtered by recent form, and server/map pool data before accepting a match, so players can make informed veto and acceptance decisions.

1. User installs extension and navigates to FACEIT match room. 2. Content script detects match room page and extracts match ID. 3. Extension checks cache, then calls backend API (recon-api.brkovic.dev) with match ID and player info. 4. Backend returns ML predictions and pre-calculated team stats. 5. Extension injects win probability bars for each veto map and a detailed stats table into the match room UI. 6. Background script intercepts FACEIT matchmaking API calls to extract server locations and map pool data, injecting it before match acceptance. 7.
