In order for YouTubeDiscordPresence to work, a second desktop application needs to be installed on your computer based on the GitHub instructions: https://github.com/XFG16/YouTubeDiscordPresence/tree/main#installation
**The current version only supports the 64-bit version of Windows. YouTubeDiscordPresence does not support the browser version of Discord. Expect compatibility for other operating systems in the future.**
YouTubeDiscordPresence works similar to the Spotify rich presence on Discord—it only appears when a video is playing and disappears when there is no video or the video is paused. Idling and searching are not displayed.
Maximize your experience with YouTubeDiscordPresence by customizing your settings! To the settings page, click on the small YTDP icon on the top right of the browser under the extensions (puzzle piece) icon.

Good extension, but can you fix the following? On YouTube Music, when I play an album, the album cover doesn’t show up on Discord like it normally does for other songs. You can test it by playing an album by the band We Are In The Crowd, for example... and there’s also this issue: in the "by" field that appears on Discord, it shows the label name instead of the artist, and the artist’s name shows up on the same line as the song title. Another thing I noticed is that album covers don’t appear when it’s a video. Of course, many random videos won’t have a cover, but here’s the thing: when you play an album, it seems like YouTube Music automatically switches to video mode for the entire album, even if some songs don’t have a video. And then no album cover shows up for any of the tracks. It’s also strange that on YouTube Music, when you play an album and click the three dots on a song in the queue, there’s no option to go to the album — it’s like Music just adds the album’s songs to the queue as videos and they’re no longer linked to the album from that point on.
Doesnt even work on linux (come on linux is the bare minimum frfr)

The activity gets frozen later.
90% malware chance
before it stopped working out of nowhere, it was great. But now it doesn't work. Not sure why. look you can think it's unhelpful but I'm just saying. 🤷🏽♂️ it doesn't work anymore.

Its excelent but there is a problem, it gets frozen in a video or music so i reccomend add a refresher every 5 minutes for example to make sure its actually whats playing.
