1. Web page dispatches a SigCaptureWeb_SignStartEvent DOM event with signature parameters. 2. Content script catches the event and sends message to background service worker. 3. Background script connects to native messaging host (com.epadlink.sigcapturewebsdk.win) on the local machine. 4. Native host communicates with the physical ePadLink signature pad. 5. Signature data (image, raw biometric data, pad info) flows back through native host → background → content script → web page via custom DOM event SigCaptureWeb_SignResponse.

Extension is very small (4 text files, ~8KB of JS) with straightforward native messaging bridge logic — analysis is complete.
