same problem as others, play/pause button shifts video to double speed
Disappointed. When I press pause, the video plays at double speed, and the "Next" and "Previous" buttons only skip 10 seconds instead of moving between videos. On the positive side, it finally syncs with the Windows media flyout.
follow marius instructions for the 2x speed bug but also make sure to reload the youtube tab
Only works for Play.Pause button.. the other buttons for ff & rw keys don't work on Windows for me
An excellent solution for anyone looking for a replacement to streamkeys.
play / pause on mac doesn't work - just accelerates playback speed 2x. ff & rw keys do work. Shame about play pause issue
I copied script from this extension and pasted it to "Custom JavaScript for Websites 2" and did as Marius van Voorden said and it works like a charm
Workaround for the bug for people who are comfortable tinkering: - Find the extension folder in your chrome extensions on your hard drive - Edit "content.js", comment out the two lines that catch the play and pause event; we don't want the extension to meddle with those. It's these, just put two slashes in front of each: navigator.mediaSession.setActionHandler('play', function() {space(document)}); navigator.mediaSession.setActionHandler('pause', function() {space(document)}); - Save - Delete folder _metadata so chrome knows this is a modified extension, not a pure one - In chrome://extensions/, turn on developer mode - Click load unpacked extension - Navigate to the folder with the extension you modified, and select the "0.0.1_0" folder - Extension now works. Hopefully the dev just implements this fairly trivial fix instead!
MacOS. Seeking forward/backward works flawlessly, but after installing addon, play/pause is broken.
to jest to czego szukałem żeby przewijać wideo klawiszami multimedialnymi, niestety są dwa problemy pierwszy problem to taki że nie działa klawisz play/pause a drugi to taki że zbyt wolno włącza się to rozszerzenie trochę trzeba zaczekać żeby działało
