Don't Buy — Stop the Impulse

How many times did you grab something on sale that ended up forgotten in a drawer? How many times did you keep going back to that one product you'd already decided not to buy, until one day you caved? Impulse buying isn't a lack of willpower — online stores are built to make you decide fast, with countdown timers, discounts, and giant "buy now" buttons. Don't Buy puts a brake right at that moment.

It's a simple extension with a single mission: give you one second to think before you spend.

How it works

Every time you land on a product page, Don't Buy detects it and shows a quiet reminder. It doesn't block you or scold you — it just reminds you that you're about to buy, and asks whether you really need it.

If you say you don't need it, it remembers. From then on, if you return to that product — or to a very similar one — it reminds you: "you already said you didn't need this." It shows you what the original product was and how closely it matches the one you're looking at now.
