Product summary

Review the store description, core capabilities, and common use cases.

In a recent (as of August 2025) change, Youtube has begun rolling out a change for names of live chat members to handles instead of channel names. This is likely to combat impersonators and other obnoxious individuals. The caveat of this change is that now every message has this ugly "@" symbol leading their name. This lightweight extension simply visually removes this symbol for a return to the cleaner, more familiar look.

PS

At this time I don't think there is a way to fully restore the channel name instead of handles (beyond them reverting the shift entirely). Luckily we CAN remove the "@" with this extension!
