Hi Travis — quick question, do you know if the MS servers remain down? If so, any chances to get this up via some other pipeline/other way, etc. Or is this tool virtually defunct?
life-saver and no paywall BS. but it stopped working for me... any updates on that? UI still shows up but it doesn't read the text aloud anymore:(

This is the best text to speech extension by a land slide imo. Completely free, no premium bs. Today it just suddenlty stopped working? I disabled the extension, closed the browser, enabled it again... the pop-up buttons do show up, but there's no sound. It's not the first time it happens, but it only happened with one of the voices before, now none of the voices are working. I'm really hoping this is fixed soon, because i love this extension.
After various attempts trying out text-to-speech Chrome extensions, this is easily the best one and at no cost! Provides exactly what I liked from Edge's Read Aloud, but with an even better interface imo. It does read text pretty indiscriminately, including inline citations and superscripted footnotes, which tends to break my reading flow—I can only assume finding a way to omit those in a universally-effective way is significantly easier said than done, though. Also, while I'm personally (maybe, irrationally lol) not the biggest fan of automatic text highlighting, I know many others find it helpful, so I'm sure adding it as an optional feature would be greatly welcomed. Minor points aside, super grateful for this. It's been incredibly helpful!! Thank you!
Amazing! A text to speech reader that works on Linux that sounds natural and doesn't cost anything! I knew this day would come! This extension is one of a kind. For the love of god, please do not go the path of all extension developers and add a subscription based paid AI mode.
The best TTS extension ever. Edge TTS does not work on Linux, so this is the only way I can have it, and actually is much better than the native Edge browser TTS in PC and Android alike.
