Mostly works as intended and has ongoing development! Thanks for fixing bugs!!!!!
Used to work perfectly now every time I click the bar it switches to showing how much time is left in the video. Makes this extension absolutely useless...
I would have given this a 5 star review weeks ago, but similar to another reviewer there's now an issue where navigating with the controls now starts showing the remaining time left, which makes this extension completely useless :(
WORKSSS
In the recent update, the "time" now toggles back and forth between elapsed time and time remaining whenever ANY button is clicked (fast-forward, rewind, or the time element itself), which defeats the entire purpose of this extension. This is otherwise a 5-star extension, please fix this as soon as possible and I will update my rating. For dev: Currently watching a video with duration of 3:08:49 When page loads, works as intended. watched for a little over an hour then paused: 1:07:24 Clicked button to rewind 10s, it now shows remaining time: -2:01:35
It is very amazing. It can hide the video duration when the video is opened. It also adds forward and backward time skips, so we can skip the preparation of competitive sports I watch on YouTube. Unfortunately, all resulting videos from the search bar and suggestions are still shown. It is still a very great extension.
good unspoiler
It's true that it won't hide the duration until after the video is opened (Even with "Hide automatically" rules set), i.e search results and suggestions will still show durations.
Works great. One of it's kind. I wonder why such a feature is not present at any browser yet. Thanks to the developer!
Still works 2022-04-14. Another review said you can't block duration until it's open, but that's wrong, you just click the extension and hit the button "Hide automatically" button and set a rule. Works great if the titles have something consistent in them.
