If a trans person hasn't changed their name legally, they see their dead name everywhere they go. True Self allows you to substitute your dead name with your chosen name on any web page you visit. Or you can test out a new name! Just type your old name in the 'Given Name' field and your new name in the 'True Self' field. Then click apply to refresh. To erase the settings, just turn the slider off. Unless turned off, settings will save across browsing sessions. You will never be tracked and usage is completely anonymous.

A very good extension
would put 5 stars but there should be an option for multiple deadnames b/c people call me my deadname and my dead[nick]name
