That resolved all my problems with popups and crash for some site when they were forced on a new tab, fast and easy.
It works. But it destroys grouping.
To convert all open tabs into separate windows, use this extension with: Tab-less Togglable https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/tab-less-togglable/ofolfkcaiejibcgljnccbaaledlbmdhd
Works great, would be nice if it was updated for tab groups - if you merge windows with tab groups open, they will become ungrouped.
Brilliant, exactly what I was looking for and works effortlessly.
Great extension. Does exactly as advertised. I don't understand why this is not built into Chrome.
I continue to be amazed at the prodigiousness prolificness of this extension's author, open source developer, Sindre Sorhus. He embodies the spirit of the UNIX philosophy of "Make each program do one thing well". This extension does what it says and no more. And that's a good thing.
