no matter how much I refresh and restart, the extension will not work. I do not see any options when clicking the dots button in my watch later playlist. edit: I manually cleaned out my playlist to make it shorter and now it started working. guess playlists that need you to scroll and load aren't compatible with this extension.

This is amazing, does exactly what I was looking for, works perfectly, thanks so much to the dev! PS Not sure why it gets such a bad rating. Maybe there was a period of time when YouTube made some change and it didn't work for a while. But as of this date, it works fine. (Jul 2, 2025) PS2 This was the Grok query that found this extenstion, maybe will be useful to search engines to put it here: Is there any way to remove only videos that have been completely watched from my YouTube watch later playlist? I am specifically looking for something that only removes completely watched videos. So I would not want it to remove for example a 60 minute video I am 5 minutes into watching or a 20 minute video I am 15 minutes into watching.Userscripts are fine as I am very technical. Please provide links, if possible several links for each option. Make sure no 404. PS3 This extension does even better, I love that I can set a threshold of how watched a video needs to be to remove, eg 90% and greater watched videos get removed.

I just downloaded this extension, but the button is not appearing. Extension IS on, and I've refreshed my Youtube page, as well as changed playlist settings (public, private, unlisted). I'd be very happy to update this rating to a higher one if it begins to work, or if the developer wants to chime in and tell me if I'm missing something!

The button doesn't appear if there are already 6 entries in the playlist hamburger button menu: show unavailable, add videos, add all to, collaborate, playlist settings, delete playlist Also, it seems like it misses videos unless you scroll back up to the top after loading the entire playlist, and on mobile browsers you can't keep scrolling down while the cleanup operation is happening. Still, this is a very helpful tool when it does work! There's just no telling when the playlist menu will or won't load 5 or 6 buttons though :/ Edit: I've tried this out both on desktop and on an android phone with kiwi browser in desktop mode, and the bug appears on both platforms. As for thr mobile site, many of the hamburger buttons don't even appear there, including the playlist hamburger button, although I'm on the lookout for an addon that can add those back since the mobile site does still load much faster... As for why I don't use the app, I like the more granular speed controls that add-ons can bring, including some other features you don't get even with a premium subscription.
