Font Inspector is an extension that helps you easily inspect all fonts within a website.
To start working with this addon, simply click on the toolbar icon once to open the in-page UI. Then, click on any HTML element that you want to see the font info.
Please note that, as long as the UI is open, no links (or other functions) on the page will work. The in-page UI has several pieces of information related to the selected font such as font size, style, color, family, etc. Besides, there is information about the current tab such as id, width, height, title, and URL. If you click on the toolbar icon or press the escape button on your keyboard, the in-page UI will disappear and all the links within the page work as normal.

Works as expected, and when it does, it's great! However, the font information box can be off the screen when the page is not maximized. When analyzing and testing websites, we need to shrink the page to test for phone vs. tablet vs. desktop, and when the info is off the screen, it's annoying. If they could fix that, it would be great!
I really wanted to like this tool but it feel short in many ways: 1) the panel the shows up has horrible UI which makes the text unreadable 2) I can't move the panel round which often blocks the text I'm inspecting 3) shows me a lot of properties which I just don't need making the panel super long/scrollable. I recently found another Chrome plugin called Serifio that's better.
First time to use this tool and I think it serves its purpose. I will update my review after some time. Great tool!
Excellent little tool that does exactly what it says it will. I use it for peer reviewing front end dev and quickly checking that a design has been implemented with the correct font sizes. If I were to offer one suggestion it would be to give an option to make the popup panel a fixed position and full height so you can see more info at one time.

The Concept is good and useful sometimes (that is why i gave it a second star) but the issue is the UI, The UI never shoes up when you click on the toolbar icon and thefore has no use. I would love to see this extension actually being used hopefully the developers can get it fixed! B)
