Review the store description, core capabilities, and common use cases.

Extension Sync is a tool to synchronously manage Chrome and Firefox browser extensions through the Github's gist.

When you use a new computer and install the Chrome/Firefox browser, you want to migrate the extensions from the old PC's browser. You can use the Extension Sync to do it easily.

First you will login with your Github account by authorizing Extension Sync. When you click the button - 'Sync to Github', Extension Sync will send the data of your locally installed extensions to your private gists. Finally you can login to Extension Sync with the same Github account on your new PC and synchronize the data to the new browser.

The extension just repeatedly asks for login with github that's it .. no trace of syncing extensions to all accounts whatsoever.

For all the Arc users, I am running it on Windows 10 (don't ask how) and the login page shows up and I can login but I can't seems to log in to the extension. 1 star.

Doesn't work on Ulaa (Zoho) Chromium based browser. Doesn't work on Arc Browser and doesn't work on Avast Secure browser. Useless extension that's hasn't been updated since 2022. Would rate 0 stars if I could.

Won't work on Arc browser. When I click "Login with Github", it opens a new tab but shows me a blank page ☹️

Nice. It still works, but 1. I would like to distinguish synced extensions from extensions that are exist only locally, but didn't uploaded to github gists (sometimes extensions become outdated and I delete them, I would like to see them on second PC too and delete them too). 2. Where can I see the link where my extensions list is stored?

It is not available on my computer. I couldn't create private gists because github misidentified my region. I would like to ask if you can make the extension support custom gists storage locations, such as filling in the gists name and identification code.
