`doesn't work
does not work
Oh man I hesitated to download this extension b/c so many reviews said it didn't work at all, but finally did b/c of the couple of people who explained the interface (thank you to those people!) First off, the little green W way to the right on a shopping pg is hard to notice if you don't know to look for it! Secondly, once I signed in and clicked the icon, an interface pops up that looks kind of like the Pin to Pinterest or other wishlist extensions - it will have empty slots where images would be, and it says "click on images to select" with a 'save' button that won't be clickable b/c there's nothing to select. I *never* would have realized this meant to click back on the webpage's pictures to select them- once I did that it worked beautifully! All the similar extensions I'm familiar with will populate any usable images (that are in the right format etc) and you choose from within their widget, not from the page itself. I'm positive this is the root of several people's complaints that they tried many different browsers and websites and couldn't find a single product they could post to Whering, this is just way too close to a familiar interface format with a key difference that's throwing everyone off! Perhaps they'll update this w a little tutorial or pop up the first time you use it that makes it crystal clear you need to click back on the websites images directly : )
There was an app similar to this on apple that wasn't getting updated anymore and then I got an android. I searched through many apps to find something similar, and this is better! It's helped me identify pieces in my closet that are just taking up space, and also put together fun outfit ideas without turning my room to look like a tornado hit it. I'm using items I forget I own simply because I can visualize it with other items. This makes picking out my outfit before bed very easy and I look put together at work. Highly recommend! wishlist - AI can now do cool things with clothing, having an invisible mannequin would be cool, or to be able to have more than one image for an item would be neat too.
The people saying it doesn't work aren't seeing the green "W" logo tab on the side of the screen, I thought it didn't work either til I noticed it. Used it on the real real/jaded london's site to add it to a wardrobe list using my macbook.
It does work but the interface isn't intuitive. You have to: 1. Click on the extension button ("W on green") . 2. Click on the image. The image will appear in the extension pop-up. 3. Click on where you want to save it (e.g. "Wardrobe", only the word is clickable, NOT the icon or the full line, bad user interface imo). 4. Click on the green "Save" button. 5. Click on the green "Done" button. It should be saved on the app. Note that I'm on Windows 11, using Chrome. The user interface definitively needs more development, but I for one REALLY appreciate having a Chrome extension. Thank you to the team who developed it, don't bet disappointed by the bad reviews, this is feedback, not failure ;-)
Doesn't work at all. When I click the icon, no images are able to be added at all from any website - 100% broken.
would give 0 . doesnt work at all
Couldn't sign in. Tried 5 times, it just kept loading and then refreshing to the sign in page again. Also concerned by the required permissions – not clear why Whering would need to *Read and change all your data on all websites* in order to run. Seems highly unnecessary.
