HTML5 multimedia redirection within Omnissa Horizon virtual desktops and published applications

When running web applications inside a Horizon VDI session, HTML5 video/audio content is normally decoded server-side, consuming VM resources and degrading quality. The background script (background.js) manages native messaging connections and updates the browser action icon to indicate redirection state (shows 'REDR' badge when active).
