Night Shade

Night Shade is a lightweight extension that forces dark mode across the web so your eyes can relax—day or night. With a single click from the toolbar popup, it applies a clean, readable dark theme to pages you visit while respecting site readability and contrast. Night Shade stores only your basic preferences (e.g., on/off state, per-site exceptions) and uses scripting with the active tab to apply styles instantly without reloading. It does not track you, collect personal data, or inject anything beyond what’s required to render dark mode.
