This extension adds the ability to set 25 different custom keyboard shortcuts for Chrome.

By design, this extension does not require any additional Chrome permissions at all. Everything is performed locally in Chrome, so it does not need access to any sites or data.

All 25 keyboard shortcut settings are optional and can be changed at any time.

All keyboard shortcuts can be changed at chrome://extensions/shortcuts. You can navigate there via your address bar, or by selecting options from the Keyboard Shortcuts extension.

Please add two keyboard shortcuts: one to translate the current web page to the default target language and one to display the page in its original format. This is a native Google Chrome feature that lacks keyboard controls.

I was looking to customize the shortcuts of Next Tab and Last Tab. This tool is very straightforward and easy to use.

I really enjoy the app, the interface is great (built right into the settings). I wanted to use the go back to previous tab, and it doesn't work. I have messed with it 20 times, readjusted to a different "shortcut," and still nothing. It is unfortunate. There are a few other shortcuts that also don't work. The basics do, but I am bummed because I have used this many times on different profiles (different gmail accounts), but yep, can not figure it out.

Hi there, thank you for the wonderful extension! In the future, would it be possible to add a feature for a keybind that allows the user to switch to the "last active tab?" For example, let's say I am on tab 2 and click on tab 8. Every time I press the hotkey chrome would switch between tab 8 and tab 2, regardless of their order up top.
