I have used this extension a lot in the past and it was working quite well.. sadly now the features we all wants are being a paywall. I personally cannot afford to pay for anything, I never spend a single cents into my stuff. I think it's sad that such a nice extension is now paywalled, like many others of all kind :(
I use TabXpert for almost 3 years. It's definetly the best browser session manager outta there. I had tried similar browser extensions, but only found piece with TabXpert. It's very well crafted and useful.
Andriy is amazing...incredibly responsive in the very rare occasion when there is a problem. Sometimes I wonder if he actually sleeps. This is in addition to the very best session and tab manager available in the known universe. Thank you Andriy!!!...for all that you do to make your product deliver a brilliant user experience!
Loving it. Wish i had found this sooner
I've tried quite a few session managers, and TabXpert really stands out. It feels thoughtfully designed, and a lot of care has clearly gone into the workflow and overall experience. I’m still testing it in my workflow, but so far I’m impressed and can already see it helping me work in a more structured way. It also brings some much-needed sanity to Chrome. For something you use every day, the upgrade for unlimited sessions and multi-device sync also seems well worth it.
The concept behind TabXpert is excellent it’s one of the most complete session and tab managers I’ve tried. However, as a first-time user, I found it a bit confusing to get started, even after watching the demo videos (russian accent) (English isn’t my first language, so it was hard to follow at times). A clearer setup guide or tutorial would make a big difference and help new users see its full potential right away. It’s also a bit expensive for casual users. A lower entry price or a free tier with unlimited features and time limit could make it more accessible and attract a wider audience , which would ultimately support ongoing development and growth. Overall, great idea and strong foundation just needs a bit more guidance for beginners and a more flexible pricing approach to truly become a 5-star product.
After spending a fortune on Workona, this was a very welcome change. Not to mention, it was much simpler to use and met my workflow perfectly (and with far less friction than Workona was introducing) Highly recommend for those who prefer to keep multiple windows of tabs rather than 1 window with endless tabs.
Very powerful tool! I have tried multiple tools to manage my workspaces and sessions, this is the only one that is actually sticking around and i'm a happy subscriber. It is rich in features but you can choose the set tha best fits your needs. I enjoy the tab sessions and synchronizaiton a lot. With tabxpert I'm able to create persistent and temporary sessions to keep my context switching clear. I can easily switch between >10 tasks easily, being able to pause in place as-is, and picking up and continue on another day. It is also super stable. I have not had a session loss so far. This matters as I can actually rely on the tool as my conext saver.
Best tab and session manager by far, and it has a generous free plan (one open/active and 5 closed sessions). I will be more than happy to pay for it if my needs exceed the free plan limits at some point. The developer has put so much effort and time into this extension, and for me, it's a life saver and fantastic way to organize my tabs. I'm really confused when people give it less than 4 stars, it's really hard to find any fault with it. A+ extension for sure!
