You should also install companion extension for VSCode Web: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=glebbash.tunnel-link. It will open or clone a GitHub repository using the repo URL that it will get from this extension's link.
Example:
Base URL is set to `https://vscode.dev/tunnel/dev/home/user/DEV`
GitHub repo is `https://github.com/microsoft/vscode`
So the resulting tunnel-link will be: `https://vscode.dev/tunnel/dev/home/user/DEV?repo=https://github.com/microsoft/vscode`
