Looks great, except for 3 things I noticed immediately. Firstly, the hotkey stated in the extension description (CTRL+SHIFT+Q) doesn't do anything - at least in Opera. I haven't tested other browsers. The hotkey is also not mentioned anywhere in the actual extension interface that I could find, so if you forget it you'd need to refer back to the Chrome Web Store page. Secondly, clicking a bookmarked timestamp only takes you to the nearest SECOND. I need to bookmark a specific FRAME within the video. I've used a different extension to do this, but it stops working after a while. Finally, there is no widget in the video's toolbar (where the play, mute, etc. buttons are) that you can simply click, rather than pressing a 3-key hotkey combo (which didn't work for me). Vive développeurs!

Sometimes when you need something, it's all about finding the precise keywords for it! And then praying you don't have to sift through all the weird or shady options. There's "Chapters" added in post by the content creators, which aren't quite Timestamps... But rather "Sections" within a video. There's "Comment Timestamps", that you can find in the Comments when a viewer mentions a specific place in the video using the mm:ss format. And then there's what we commonly call Timestamps, that IMO should've been the actual name of this amazing Chrome Extension (they're also professionally known as "Cue Markers" in the Audio/Video world). All this to say, this Extension is the only one that truly honors the definition of a "Timestamp" : It doesn't only save your Markers (or "Cues") in between sessions, but it also lets you customize the Label of each Marker within a specific Video, for as many Videos as you want! No entry Limit, no "Subscribe to our shady 3rd Party Cloud Service for yet another 9.99/Mo". It's straightforward, no nonsense. For those who ask, it actually backs-up your Timestamps List locally within your Chrome Profile folder, that's automatically synced with your Google Account which is cloud-based by design. Anyhow, really hope this comment helps others find this Addon more efficiently ;)

UPDATE: This is still the GEAT greatest extension of all time. It's over two years later already? Wow. I have been using this forever and will never stop until youtube rips the javascript out from my cold dead hands. I use this extension daily. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- after months of trying different options so i can watch a long podcast on 50% speed over a 48 hour period without ever losing my place in a video EVER EVER EVER xC (i am super ocd hahaha) this is the only utility that has never caused me an issue. every other note or timestamp extension i tried to use would eventually glitch out in some way, causing me to lose my place in a video. finally with this extension i can leave 20 videos open for days and never lose my place because i obsessively tap the shortcut it let me set to alt+x whenever i pause a video and leave the room. then i tap alt+z to open the menu which i can search from etc. and trust me when i say after trying literally dozens of options over months, THIS IS THE WINNER, the one and only thank you to the developer because this actually makes living with disabilities less painful for me <3

Yo, thank you for this extension. It took me forever to find a timestamping extension that ACTUALLY allows you to timestamp during livestreams. You're the best!
