Simple Counter Button

This way you don't have to have the booksmarks bar visible all the time.
You can even set your own custom icon to easier identify the right shortcut.
When clicking the icon the set URL is either opened in the same tab, if the current tab is empty, or in a new tab.
To have the icon appear next to the searchbar, you have to pin the extension to the toolbar.
