Hill Chart for GitHub adds interactive hill charts directly to GitHub issue pages — the same concept Basecamp popularized for visualizing project progress at a glance.
How it works
The left side of the hill represents "figuring things out" — research, uncertainty, and design. The right side represents "making it happen" — execution and known work. You add named points and drag them along the curve to show where each piece of work stands.
Open any GitHub issue and click the Hill Chart button in the issue toolbar
Add points for tasks or workstreams
Drag them along the hill to show progress
