This add-on let's you automatically refresh the Zendesk ticket page without refreshing the whole tab which removes filters etc.
You can set the refresh interval when clicking on the add-on icon in the browser.
You can find the code on Github so it can be validated by IT departments to be allowed in companies with strict security requirements.

Does exactly what I was looking for. Others "work" but only when the tab is active which was a problem for me when I had Zendesk open on a second monitor while I was working on other things. I've tried just using auto tab refreshing extensions but I liked to have my tickets sorted in a certain order and when the tab would refresh it would go back to the default view. This extension refreshes Zendesk even when it's not my active tab and it's only Zendesk that refreshes, not the whole tab which is exactly what I wanted so that I could easily glance over to see any updated or new tickets without having to rely on email notifications or manually refreshing ever couple of minutes.
